Terms and Conditions
The following are the terms and conditions for the use of the CocoaBox website and purchase of CocoaBox products. Use of the CocoaBox website and purchase of CocoaBox products constitutes agreement to these terms. If there are any terms that you do not agree with then please do not continue using this site. The following terms and conditions may be amended at any time so please keep a copy for your records.
Use of the CocoaBox website and ordering of CocoaBox products is limited to persons of 18 years of age and older.

Ordering
- We try our best to make sure that your order is processed as efficiently as possible. However, our products are hand crafted and handmade and take longer to produce than buying off the shelf.
- From receipt of standard orders dispatch will occur within 5 working days. Exceptions may be made at the discretion of CocoaBox during peak times e.g. Christmas, Easter etc.
- From receipt of orders with names or monograms on boxes/ballotins dispatch will occur within 10 working days. If your order is needed for a specific date we advise allowing 2 weeks of notice in ordering. Exceptions may be made at the discretion of CocoaBox during peak times e.g. Christmas, Easter etc.
- CocoaBox reserves the right to extend these dispatch targets during peak times.
- CocoaBox reserves the right to refuse orders for named/monogramed products or personalised messages where the wording requested is in any way offensive or discriminatory.
- If a product ordered is out of stock or unavailable CocoaBox will contact you directly as soon as possible to discuss a refund or a suitable replacement of similar value.
- Products and images listed on the CocoaBox website are for illustration purposes only. Your product may vary slightly due to their handcrafted nature.
- CocoaBox reserves the right to alter or discontinue any of its products at any time.
- We aim to only provide the highest quality of product. Therefore, CocoaBox reserves the right to suspend orders at any time due to high temperature or any other kind of inclement weather.
Price
- Prices for all CocoaBox products are clearly stated on the CocoaBox website and on all CocoaBox brochures.
- CocoaBox reserves the right to alter these prices at any time.
Payment Terms
- Unless specifically allowed and agreed upon by CocoaBox before the order is accepted, all payment of goods must be made in advance.
Delivery
- Orders are accepted for delivery within the Republic of Ireland only.
- A standard delivery charge of €5.00 will apply to all orders. CocoaBox reserves the right to change this standard delivery charge at any time. This does not affect your statutory rights.
- CocoaBox will try to personally deliver as many orders as possible within the Greater Dublin Area.
- Outside of the Greater Dublin Area and inside the Greater Dublin Area during peak times CocoaBox reserves the right to send any order by registered post with tracking and signature required.
- In case of posted orders and due to the sensitivity of CocoaBox’s products to direct sunlight and temperature/humidity changes we ask that all customers provide an address where safe delivery of any order can be made on a first attempt (e.g. a work address).
- For orders that are posted you will be emailed with your tracking number once the order has been dispatched.
- Orders are dispatched Tuesdays and Saturdays of each week. CocoaBox reserves the right to change these dispatch days at any time.
- For orders that are delivered personally by CocoaBox customers will be contacted directly to confirm specific delivery times before delivery is made.
- CocoaBox is not responsible for any damage to orders made during postage.
- CocoaBox is not responsible for any delay in postage due to strikes or inclement weather.
- It is currently not possible to select specific dispatch dates from the CocoaBox website. Orders will be dispatched on Tuesdays and Saturdays as the orders are received. If your order is required for a future date please contact CocoaBox directly to discuss your order.
Upon accepting delivery it is the responsibility of the customer to inspect the product for damage and for the correct storage of any and all chocolate products i.e. in a cool, dark place away from strong smells, not in direct sunlight and not in the fridge.
Allergens
- All allergens for CocoaBox chocolates are listed on the CocoaBox website, all CocoaBox brochures and on all the CocoaBox chocolate products.
- All chocolates are made in a kitchen that handles milk, nuts, gluten and alcohol.
- Chocolate products ordered from the website can be selected with either vegan or nut free chocolate selections. These vegan and nut free chocolate products are all still produced in the same kitchen that handles the allergens listed above.
Returns and Refunds
- Our return policy is 14 days after confirmed delivery of your order. Unfortunately we can’t offer a refund or exchange if your order is beyond that time
- We can only replace of refund items that are deemed damaged or defective.
- If you need to return please contact CocoaBox using any of the methods outlined above and we will advise you as to how to return your damaged or defective product to us.
Parental discretion
- Chocolate products that contain nuts may have small pieces which can be a choking hazard to young children.
- Chocolate products that contain alcohol are clearly labeled in the allergens and ingredients section that can be found on all CocoaBox chocolate products. Products that contain alcohol are given to children under the age of 18 entirely at the discretion of the parents/guardians.
